PREVIOUSLY ON PAMERIC...

A quick update on what's been happening in PamEric... Jinsy's longest running costurama! Just before Big Petra, serving maid at ‘The Clod and Stapler’ is discovered in possession of both the missing key and the missing door (which the key fits into), Miss Jessie is shocked when her second half-cousin through her fourth wedding-match, Jood (identical twin brother to the scheming Djood - who was also formerly married to Miss Jessie, though this is still unknown to her) returns to PamEric disfigured, having caught the hem of his coat on the back wheel of the inter-parish muck cart while out in pursuit of Big Petra’s lover, Creggy – an attractive but partially-blind youth with one leg slightly shorter than the other, who has fled/limped across the marshes, after being wrongly accused of stealing the missing key (but not the door). This all happens before the action of this episode, which takes place after Gogland’s claim to the Lozenge Factory has at last been verified by law – which, if you remember was left to him on Mr Ooger’s deathbed, during the electric storm which we later learn was responsible for felling the big tree on Jutterton’s drive, which in turn led to the inter-parish muck cart veering off its usual route, and passing along the marsh road, where it scooped up Jood by the coat-hem - although all that has yet to happen.
